1. Conclusion of the contract
The contract between the guest and Homoki Lodge – Nature Quest Resort shall be applicable on receipt of written confirmation of the reservation, whether this has been sent by letter or e-mail. The services provided are based on the content description on our website.

2. Prices
The prices are in Euro (EUR). In order to clear balances in Hungarian Forints (HUF), you are asked to get in touch with the reservation prior you place your booking.

3. Terms of payment

Deposit: A deposit of 50% is required to confirm your reservation. On payment of this deposit you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions. 

Balance: The balance of the billing is to be received by Homoki Lodge – Nature Quest Resort latest 6 weeks prior to the first day of your stay. An invoice and notice of the balance payment shall be sent, with a Credit Card Authorization form if required. A credit card number must be given to guarantee your reservation, even if the deposit has been paid. As accommodations are limited and if payment is not made by the given deadlines, Homoki Lodge – Nature Quest Resort shall be entitled to cancel the contract and demand a cancellation fee in accordance with section 4. Final settlement: the remaining balance of the entire stay is payable directly, on the day of departure.

4. Changes and cancellations

Homoki Lodge – Nature Quest Resort bookings are typically made six months to a year in advance. Booking requests are rarely received six weeks or less, prior to planned arrivals. Therefore, cancellations and no shows are treated as a loss that cannot be recovered.

If you cancel a booked reservation, the following cancellation fees shall apply:

  • Cancellations up to 43 days prior to arrival incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the whole balance.
  • Cancellations less than 42 days before the date of arrival incur a cancellation fee of 100% for every night and booked activities cancelled.

For cancellations made in writing (email or post): the applicable cancellation date is the date on the written cancellation document. Homoki Lodge – Nature Quest Resort recommends that you take out a travel cancellation insurance, for example through your local insurer or credit card travel insurance. If you are unable to come but assign your booking to another person, no extra costs shall be incurred. If, due to a fault on the part of Homoki Lodge – Nature Quest Resort the accommodation was not available for occupation at the period for which it was booked, the hotel shall pay at least the equivalent value of the accommodation for as long as the room is unavailable.

5. Delayed arrival or premature departure
Arrival and departure dates and times are the responsibility of the guests. In case of late arrival, whether due to disturbances in public or private transport, or for personal reasons, the full room-price is payable. In the event of premature departure, the entire amount is also payable.

6. Check-in / Check-out
Check-out is at 10am, Check-in 2pm to 6pm. If you arrive after 6pm, you are asked to inform Homoki Lodge in advance.

7. Tourist tax
For the duration of your stay a local accommodation tax must be paid.

8. Complaints
In the event of a complaint please notify Homoki Lodge – Nature Quest Resort , so that any problems, faults or errors can be resolved as quickly as possible.
In all other respects, Hungarian law shall apply. Exclusive jurisdiction is the county of Csongràd / city of Szeged.


This booking policies are valid from 01/03/2016, all bookings confirmed prior that date are subject to the respective valid booking policies until 02/29/2016.
